As a result, Madigan Capital’s institutional-backed capital has been in high demand, leading to strong business growth.

This has generated a need for Madigan Capital to increase its head-count to service the heaviest pipeline of Australian commercial real estate debt opportunities seen for years.

To support Madigan on its growth trajectory, we are delighted to introduce new team members who bring a wealth of expertise to our business including:

Pru Wyllie joins as Senior Legal Counsel, with over 20 years of experience as a banking and finance lawyer. Her background includes roles as in-house counsel at two global banks, providing invaluable insight into the industry.

Jelena Ilic, our new Associate Director, brings 11 years of expertise in risk and liquidity management, loan structuring, and client relationship management. Her experience from one of Australia’s oldest non-bank lenders will be a valuable addition to our Origination & Transactions Team.

Peter Petrides, the latest member of our team, comes aboard as an Investment Associate. With 7 years of experience in the Corporate & Institutional Banking and Institutional Property Teams at one of Australia’s leading big four banks, Peter’s knowledge is a strong asset to our Origination & Transactions Team.

These recent appointments have been focussed on accelerating Madigan’s deployment capabilities and will support the existing team, who have already originated close to $2bn of Australian commercial real estate loans, including around $1bn of capital repaid to our institutional clients.

The demand for high quality loan deployment doesn’t appear to be slowing down, motivating Madigan to continue to build our team accordingly to service the evolving needs of the market.
